Layups 4 Life and Party With Purpose joined forces again, organizing the 2nd Annual Charity Cornhole Tournament, located at Willie McBride’s in Hoboken, New Jersey. Over $1,500 was raised on the day with funds supporting both organization’s causes. Layups 4 Life has raised over $100,000 to date supporting cancer research and clinical trials, while Party With Purpose has raised over $650,000 supporting local children’s charities in the greater Hudson County area.

Teams and patrons at Willie McBride’s were treated to drink and food specials along with a raffle consisting of prizes such as New York Rangers tickets, foursome golf outings and gift certificates to local restaurants. The defending champions, Bags to Riches, which consisted of the Adam Kovonuk and Blaise Barra were in attendance, determined to defend their title. However, a new team in this year’s tournament, Nothin’ Butt Hole, which consisted of Scott Somsel and Bobby Hammershock makingtheir presence felt, winning in the second annual charity cornhole tournament.
